How can I apply for research?
You can fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of our website, attach an abstract with a study request and send it to us, or we can get over Zoom to discuss your study. We'll explore your request and prepare a detailed research plan.
What is the cost of your work?
Our hourly rates are always within the range of graduate students' reimbursements. The cost of the research depends on the quantity of materials you are interested in and the research hours required for their processing.
Can I get copies of the materials I'm interested in?
Based on your requests and research goals, we can prepare summaries of the materials you are interested in or order copies. The cost of copying one page is determined individually by each archive and depends on various factors but on average it is around $1-2 per page.
When can I receive the first materials?
After the research plan is agreed upon and launched the first results are usually available within 1-2 weeks.
How often will I receive updates on the progress of my research?
Your personal manager will keep you constantly informed about any changes and updates and will also prepare weekly reports on the progress of the work.
Can I publish the obtained documents?
According to the Russian archival law, you can use the images and documents without special permissions if you are citing them appropriately. In addition, Russian law allows the use of archival images for educational and scientific purposes.
